APPEA is pleased to announce that Mr Ashley Wells will join its Canberra office in the new position of Director – Federal Government Relations in 2018.
“APPEA is delighted to recruit such an experienced government relations professional to this key role,” said APPEA Chief Executive Dr Malcolm Roberts.
“Ashley Wells has been a policy adviser to senior shadow ministers and a director with a prominent national public affairs company.
“For the last five years, Ashley has been policy director at the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.
“Mr Wells will bring to the APPEA team policy insight and many years of experience representing Australian industry.”
Mr Wells said he was excited to begin a new stage in his career.
“I look forward to joining the APPEA team at a challenging time for this critically important industry and working on the many issues ahead,” he said.
